Goodbye, Mister Purr

My beloved companion of 14 years is gone.
Mister Purr died at dawn, the day after Christmas,
after a long battle with liver failure and hyperthyroidism.

He was a kind and gentle soul and I miss his purring, loving presence immensely.
I will be forever grateful he was in my life and believe I'm a better woman as a result of sharing so much time with him.

Thank you for your many lessons in love, Mister Purr.

I am so sorry to read this. I, too, lost a cat to hyperthyroidism. Mister Purr purred because he loved you and knew you loved him. Take care of yourself.

Oh Kim, I am so sorry to hear this sad news. I know how much you loved Purr, you were both so fortunate to have each other. I am so sad for your loss. Take care of yourself, Purr would want that.

I have a 13 year old cat Little Jim that is struggling with fluid around his lungs - potentially from some kind of trauma. I fear for him and can only love and care for him and keep him comfy in his autumn. I am so sorry for your loss. He looks like a beautiful kitty.

That is the most beautiful picture ever....you can feel the love thru this view. The pads of his feet are just amazing! So sorry for your loss but in the end you have really gained so much....

What a beauty! So sorry for your loss. Our furry companions are so very dear to us. ( I lost my KC in Oct of 2010 - just shy of his 14th birthday.) We have many similar interests in this life. Hope we can meet up again when we have some time to visit.
